Congratulations to Our Competitors 2010

Congratulations to our competitors who represents Kedah Northern Area (KKU) for the land slide winning victory at the Kedah State Level First Aid and Home Nursing Competition 2010 which held at SMK St Micheal by 8th May.All 4 teams which are Ambulance Adult(AA),Nursing Adult(NA),Ambulance Cadet(AC) and Nursing Cadet(NC) will represent the Kedah state to take part the National Level First Aid and Home Nursing Competition which will be held at 5th and 6th June,the venue of the event is at PULAPOL(Pusat Latihan Polis),Jalan Semarak,Kuala Lumpur.

It is indeed a great present to the 50 years anniversary of St John of Keat Hwa.Good Luck to all of them and hopefully they will achieve great success in the National Competition to make our anniversary celebration greater!

Our 50 Years - Public Health Checking Campaign

Date:    Friday, March 26, 2010

Time:    09:00am - 01:00pm

Venue:  Keat Hwa Secondary School Main Hall

One of the huge events of "Our 50 Years" 50th Anniversary Celebration of St John of Keat Hwa.

The Public Health Campaign includes multiple types of health check-ups:

BMI Measurement
Blood Glucose Level
Cholesterol
Lung Function
Bone Test (Osteoporosis)

Moreover, our school principal, Mr. Chow Lai Hing is invited to declare open this event. The ceremony will be from 9.30am to 9.50am.

Besides the checkups, two lectures regarding Health Caring will also be given by Doctors and Pharmacists from the General Hospital.

The first lecture will be "Know Your Medicine", it will begin at 9:50am and end at 10:20am, followed by a 5-minute Q&A session.

The second lecture will be "Diabetes" and it will be from 10:25am till 10:55am, followed by another 5-minute Q&A session.

There will be consultant counters, you can bring your medicine and seek consultation from the professionals.

This event is open to all Keat Hwa Secondary School Students, Parents and Teachers.

All Health Checks Services are F.O.C.

Note: For the blood glucose level check, there are two types. The first one is fasting and the other one is non-fasting. If you are going to check for your blood glucose level when you are fasting, please fast for at least 8 hours after eating. However, if you are going to check for your blood glucose level when you are not fasting, please fast for at least 2 hours after eating.

The Rise Of Hidden Tiger 就是今年NewYear Gathering的主题啦！

出席的member及ex-member算多！

比起去年的地点，成功园的大礼堂很大，因此容纳得下我们这个大家庭！

大家边吃边谈，在聚会接近尾声的时候天保大哥和我们来一个交流会，为当晚的气氛增添不少感触。

Area Competition 2010 coming soon

Area First Aid and Homenursing Competition will be held on 27 Feb 2010.
We received a news from our area commander ---Mr. Kunna that area competition will be held to choose our KEDAH state team. As far as we know, there are no comfirmed school team besides Keat Hwa.

State competition will most probobly held on March.

New Year Gathering will be held at Taman Berjaya's hall (beside the basketball court)
It's happy to hear that the date of this gathering dropped at 12 Feb 2010, 6.30p.m. to 10.00 p.m.
Go along Jalan Pegawai and Taman Berjaya is just there.

All ex-members are invited to this gathering of TIGER year.
